The Door

Drenched in the dark of the night,
I want to reach out and dial a number
when, in fact, I have none.
If there's a chance [and chance only]
for me to follow the hollow wind
and take flight, even if
it looks like I'm only grasping at straws
with nothing to fall into.
Would it be right for me to
let it unfold, let destiny grab a hold
and lead me right where I'm meant to go?
